How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before I received money from GiveDirectly I had financial problems. But now that I have received the money, I have decided to build a house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly did well to give me money to build a house. There is nothing that the organisation did not do well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used most of my money to buy materials to build my house like timber and ironsheets. These are expensive and that's why they costed me more as compared to other things that I had bought.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money has meant solving some of my problems and I plan to buy enough food and buy comfortable beddings.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon because that is when I share food with my family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
One of the biggest hardshipI have faced is not being able to provide enough food for my family. I farm rice and maize and when I harvest enough rice am able to make more money and when I don't harvest enough am forced to do piece works in order to provide enough food for my family.
