How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Its an honor to live in my new decent spacious house in my own homestead . My neighbors who used to see me as a laughing stack because at my age the customs require that I should own my homestead unfortunately my resources were limited to do so. My life has changed since I am enjoying the freedom and privacy in my new homestead . Thanks to GiveDirectly .
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion , GiveDirectly did well in helping my village out with money . I loved the fact that the organization understood that my community members had varies problems in different fields . Therefore, with the money issued people got help which is feasible like building new house , educating their children and starting small business . Personally I do not see what GiveDirectly did wrong at its work.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spend my second transfer to buy building materials and paid builders who facilitated the construction of my spacious decent house in my compound . Today , I enjoy the luxury of living in a spacious and decent house unlike the previous one which was old and too small.
