Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I am planning to replace the roof of my house. The current roof is old and worn out. It even leaks on days that there are heavy rains and this is uncomfortable for my household. I hope to repair it in the next four months to solve the issue of the leaking roof. I strongly believe when it is not taken care of it will destroy my furniture.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have been living in a mud-walled house for so long, the walls were almost falling off and the cracks were growing big. This was scary and risky and I felt unsafe staying there with my family. Upon receiving my transfers, I bought cement, sand, and marram that assisted me with the repairs of the walls and the cracks. Currently, the walls look new and it feels safe to stay in the house.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I shall have fixed an iron sheet roof and replaced the old one that had been leaking by buying building materials every month with the sent transfer. This is because at the moment the leaky old roof of my house is in a deplorable condition which has made it risky for our habitation.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is different from how it would have been four months ago in that I have a cow. I had desired to have livestock in my compound as a sign of wealth. I could not be able to achieve this because of my low income from casual work. I felt so poor in the village because I was the only one in my area without livestock. In the last four months, I have been saving the transfer which I used to buy a cow. I feel rich now even though I am not. I know with this cow, my life will never be the same again.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal in the next four months is to pay school fees for my children in time. I don't always enjoy to see my children being sent home because of school fees arrears. This is the reason why I want to always use the transfers to pay their fees bit by bit until I clear their arrears.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving these transfers is that I have plastered my house. I had desired to plaster my house but due to low income from casual work, I was not able to raise money to buy building materials needed to plaster the house. I had to smear the house every month to keep it strong and presentable. I was getting tired of smearing every month and that's why I wanted to plaster the house. With GD transfers, I was able to buy building materials which I used to plaster the house. I feel happy about achieving this goal.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to be different in the next six months is to buy a water tank. This is because during the dry seasons we struggle to get water and in most cases, we are forced to go for long distance to get water. I know when I buy the tank, I will never struggle again for water in the dry seasons.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
The last four months have been so nice for me because my wife and I recently bought one track of sand and cement which we already used to cement our house. We used to live in a dilapidated house with the mud walls being washed away during the heavy rainy seasons, leaving us with a lot of work to do in terms of gathering cow-dung which we would then use to plaster the walls. Having cemented the entire house, I feel so happy because I know that the perennial problems I used to face during the rainy seasons would be a thing of the past from now going onward.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I expect to get a bumper harvest which I will then re-sell because I am certain that I will have surplus food. The good thing with the maize products is that it always has a ready market within the locality. Once everybody harvests from their farm, I will store them nicely for a period of close to maybe three to four months and speculate for price increase in the market. Once I sell them, I should be able to generate some profit which i will then use to sustain the family by buying food and other necessities.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have used the money to accomplish different missions and so far I have seen so many changes in my life. The biggest difference in my life for me would be the ability to buy modern seedlings and fertilizers, which was enabled by the cash transfers that I normally get from the organization. During the yester years, I used to plant my local seedlings without any form of fertilizers because I could not afford to buy the expensive fertilizers. Today i am proud because I have already bought the goods in preparation for the on-coming planting season. I am so sure that by the time we will be harvesting, I should be able to get not less than eight bags of maize, something that I could not achieve in the past because of using local methods of agriculture.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
Long term project is to buy a goat which we will rear going into the future. One advantage of keeping a goat is that it will definitely give birth in the future and of-course once their population grows, I will have the chance to sell-out some of them and make some cash which maybe put into other use just in case maybe I run out of money.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I never had enough cash to help me accomplish my goal which was to transform the looks and durability of my house by transforming it from a mud walled to a semi-permanent house.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I am planning to buy a huge water tank that will act as a water reservoir for my family into the future because there is a serious water shortage in our village so this will help me reduce the amount of stress I usually undergo during the dry seasons.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have been able to get cash every month without working extra hard like I used to before before so I have now reduced the amount of casual labor I used to do. I have been able to cement the interior part of my house and transformed the looks significantly.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change within the next six months because my aim now is to buy a cow that I will be milking which means that I will no longer be buying milk from vendors. The more the cows will give birth, the more the money I will make when I sell them out.
