How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different because now I sleep on a comfortable bed, I am able to provide and have food for my family and also I have a proper house. Even my children have blankets now and I can tell that they are very happy about that. If it wasnt for the transfers I do not know where I would have been, It has helped me so much in ways I never thought possible. I am just greatful.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly does really well by giving people money without telling us how to handle the money. I can not judge on the things that GiveDirectly does not do well because I am just a person looking in from the outside what you are doing works well for me because I have never been helped like the way GiveDirectly is helping me. So to me I dont see anything that you could be doing to be better everything you do is fine.

I spent my transfers by getting bricks made, so that I can start construction on my house. I also managed to buy other materials for construction like nails, roofing. ect..With the rest of the money I bought my children blankets.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment i recieved the transfer my heart was filled with joy because it was first time for me to get such huge amount of money, that would help me to get all things i have been longing for in the past

The biggest difference in my daily life is that before the transfer there was no enough food in my house and there was fear that hunger would rampaged through soon but now i have bought enough food with the transfer and my whole family is happy

When i recieved my transfer i spent it on food, because is what i needed most, clothes for the whole family and also saved some money for maintaining my house in the near future
