How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago because l am now staying in a very nice tile house as compared to before where l was staying in a very dusty house. My business is also doing very well that l get enough profit to sustain me with my family.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I do not have any additional a goal because l have spent the whole of the money l was given.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that l am now staying in a very nice house where l do not need to warry of it's cracking. I also spent the money to improve my business of selling sisal, which is now doing very well because l can afford to have three meals in a day as compared to before when l would even eat once.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months l expect my business to improve more than it is now.

Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
My new goals are; building a kitchen to have a separate cooking place because currently, I cook in the main house which is uncomfortables due to smoke and more things that I stalk in one place and I also want to boost my business so as to get more profits that I will use in taking care of my daily household needs.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently different from how it would have been if I never received the transfer in that, I could not have managed to purchase floor tiles to fix in my house but now I am happy because I am soon fixing them and will never have the hectic work of cementing and reparing it anymore which is expensive.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that, I will have restoked my business and through this, I will be able to eat well and even take care of my other needs easily using the profits that I will be getting.

The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving payments from GiveDirectly is that, I am very happy because I eat well and doesn't buy maize in bits unlike before.

The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is losing my brother, I no longer have a shoulder to lean on.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon when making ropes. This has been my main source of income for the past twenty years.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I plan to spend my transfer on buying cement and sand for improving the condition of my house then use the rest on buying food.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is that through casual work I have managed to provide food for the family on a daily basis.
