How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
No! I had no new goals. I used to live in Monrovia. I had a job that was not paying well. Things were a bit difficult for my family. I could not afford our upkeep. I decided to move back to my hometown to make farm and cater to my family. I live in my sister house. I have always been wanting to build a house of my own. I ha e been jnae to do so due to lack of money. I was overwhelmed when I started receiving payments from GiveDirectly. I am so happy that things will never be the same again.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly has done anything wrongly. It has given me money to build my own house. This is something I never thought I could achieve now. I am so thankful for this opportunity.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I was overwhelmed when I received my payment. I spent some of my moment buy a new mattress. I used the rest to buy zinc and start my building process.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I'm a farmer so farming is my only source of income and my plan is to make a big vegetables farm so once I get this money transfer I will continue my farming activity.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I'm not happy about anything because my farm; which is my only source of income is not producing during the season. Nevertheless, hearing about this money transfer from Givedirectly is the only thing that is bringing me some joy now.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Currently we are in the raining season so growing vegetables crops at the time is a difficult thing to do because as the rain falls the swampy land pull more water and my crops die.
