What does receiving this money mean to you?
My house broke down more than 3 years ago but I have not been able to rebuild a new house. The house I live in is not for me and it has been creating problems for me. When I receive this money, the first thing I will intend doing is to build a new house. I will build a new house that will represent me. I am an agriculturist and I have a small palm garden along the road. It is not big because I don't have money to expand it to a bigger farm. Now, I have more palm on nursery. If I receive this money, I will pay more people to brush and increase the garden to a farm level. I'm going to invest in my palm farm when I receive the money.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Recently, what has brought me joy is knowing that I have started planting palm for myself. Though it is not yet big, but I feel happy and proud of having a palm garden with the intent of expanding it to a farm level. When I look at many older people who have not done such at their ages, I feel glad. At my age and starting this palm farm, is a great achievement for me and it makes me happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I had a surgical operation in 2007 and because of that, I had to stop doing physical work. The work I used to do for money can't be done by me again because of my health condition. To make matters worse, my woman who used to help me was operated on this year before giving birth to my youngest daughter. For now, my greatest challenge is the lack of financial support to support my family.
