What did you spend your third transfer on?
I plastered the walls and floor of my 2 roomed house at a total cost of 17800 KES and spent the rest of my third transfer on food. Before then, I had turned a village laughing stock since I appeared to be out of fashion-smearing the walls of my houses with cow dung when the rest of the villagers were living in cemented houses.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent most of the second transfer to plaster my house since this was the cheapest and easiest way to maintain it. I also spent the transfer to pay school fee for my child who is in academy primary school. The remaining balance l spent to improve my business since it was not doing well because of lack of enough capital.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I added my saving to the first transfer and built a kitchen which have longed for in a long time. Now I no longer cook out side and my children have a spacious place to sleep in as I had sub-divided my kitchen into two.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I had gone out to sell some goods and on coming back home ,my husband told me other villagers had received their first transfer and if I could kindly confirm the same on my phone. Upon confirming that I had received the transfer ,I was very happy and that is when I was convinced that GiveDirectly truly fulfills promises to the poorest households in my community.
