How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before receiving the transfer, i would farm without fertilizer, and that's how Life was every farming season. Now, with the transfer, the goal has been to yield more produce hence buying fertilizer and pesticide.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly has done so well. Almost every household has enough food, Fertilizer, have had their house built or maintaned, all because of Give Directly. We are very thankful.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have mostly spent most of the money by buying farming inputs. I have been having a few harvest, this year i want to yield more. I have bought seeds, fertilizer, and spray chemical. I have also bought enough food for my family.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the money I was very happy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life right now is the fact that I have food I used to go to bed hungry and now I dont anymore. I never had enough blankets and now I do. I am really thankful for everything that ha happen to me.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent transfer on Mattress , blankets and bags of maize. And I save the rest because I want to rent land so that I can do some farming.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
The program means a lot to me. I am struggling to make both ends meet and am grateful that I have been considered in this program. I will use the money to build a house. I will also buy some bags of maize so that I can top u on the maize I have. I also plan to buy kitchen utensils and some bags of fertilizer.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am always a happy person when I am chatting with my children.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Hunger has been a challenge. My harvest is not enough to carry me throughout the year. Our sleeping place is also not comfortable because our beddings are torn.
