Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt very happy when the moment I received my money transfer from GD. I was very joyful because in my whole live I have never had this much money. I have no job and I don't do any business, all I do is farming this way I have food to feed my family so receiving this money meant so much to me and my family because we are now able to build a new house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my life is that I have now found money to help me get the things I did not have. I am living in a small house made out of grass because I did not have any source of money to build a better house for my family. But I now have the money to build a better house. I am very thankful.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have spent my first money transfer from GD on building my new house. I have a house but this house is very small and is made out of grass. We are four in my family and we all live in this small house which is very uncomfortable. I have started building my new house and I have bought iron sheets so that the house has a proper roof and this way my family and I will live in a better house.
