How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The biggest difference in my life is that now I have my own cow. I never knew that one day I would buy a high breed cow which will me feed my family and also get some income from the sale of milk.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly did well by helping everyone in our village by giving the same amount of money despite their status in the village. I don't believe that GD were not able to do well in one way or the other but I love thier way of doing things in a transparent manner.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
The second transfer I spent KES 18000 to buy a high breed heifer. I also bought furniture at KES 11000. I fixed doors and windows to my house at KES 8000. I bought solar lights and battery which cost me KES 7000. I bought a radio(woofer) at KES 6000.
