How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
No! I have not new goals. I always wanted to see my children becoming future leaders. Few years ago I was not able to pay their fees. I had no money. I could hardly afford our upkeep. I am thankful that GiveDirectly came to my town. I am so grateful for its cash program. My family life has improved for the best.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has not done anything unwell. It's unconditional cash program is a life changer. We are so grateful for this opportunity. Our lives will never be the same again.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have not withdrawn my payment. However, when I do, I am planning on using a portion of it to complete my children tuition payments. I am also planning on buying a bag of rice and some other food items. I am planning on buying few clothes for my wife and children. I am thankful for this opportunity GiveDirectly has given us. Things will now improve for our family.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have planned to build a new house because the September rain flushed my house out. I am living with one of my brothers right now. I am so sad and embarrassed by this situation because we're so cluster in my brother's home alone with my family. I was very happy when I receive this money from Givedirectly because I believed that my plans of building a new house for my family and I to have a better future were about to be achieved.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I have not seen such thing like this before in my whole entire life. Since I was born, this is my very first time to receive such amount of money from anyone or to see an NGO doing such thing. I strongly believe that GiveDirectly is against poverty because there are lot of us that are very much poor and we are being helped to get out of poverty. For this cause, in my own opinion I do believe that there is nothing wrong that GiveDirectly does not do well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I am living a uncomfortable life. I am with a family but yet living with my brother because of a condition that I had no control over. I am very glad for the help of Givedirectly unconditional cash transfer because had it not been so, I couldn't be so happy like the way I am today. With this money from Givedirectly, I will spend all on building materials both my first and second transfer even including my third transfer. I need a better future home for my family and I. Thanks to God Almighty for GiveDirectly.
