How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Currently, I am happy because I now live a comfortable life. My house has enough space for all household members. Before, I used to sleep in a grass thatched house that was full of holes on the roof and when it rained, it would leak.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well to give money without strings attached to. That has enabled me to build a permanent house. I do not see what GiveDirectly has not done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second cash transfer for completing construction of my permanent house and specifically, It supported in buying iron sheets and timber. I bought a mattress in order to improve on the living conditions. I paid school fees for my child and bought utensils, I then bought clothes, fed my household and hired land for crop cultivation.
