How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different now because i will be able to build my good house once the rainy season is over. i am staying in a poorly built, grass thatched house and i really wanted a good house. Now that shortly i will have my new house am very happy and thankful to Give Directly.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I feel everything is done very well and i cant identify something that is not done well
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When i received my second transfer i bought materials for building my house which am planning to build once the rainy season is over. The other amount was used to buy food for my family. I saved some money for house building costs.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
It was the happiest moment in my life because such an amount of money was so huge for me just to get it for free. I was in high spirits on that day and even now I still smile.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference this money has made in my life is that it has temporarily chased hunger away from my household. With the food i bought using this transfer, I and my family are happy because we do have meaningful meals daily unlike before when the whole day would pass without eating anything.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent this tenasfer notably on buying mattress because I did not have one, fertilizer, maize for my household as we had already run out of food by the time I was getting this cash. Additionally I bought clothes and school uniforms for my children. Lastly I purchased iron sheets to roof my house so that when I receive my last transfer, I should finish roofing it.
