What did you spend your third transfer on?
I had deposited on a plot of land with my second transfer so I used my third transfer to clear the debt on the land to be able to acquire a land title. This land is be utilised for farming.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life would be full of struggle because i had no stable job to earn income however my life is now different because i was able to make an investment and thus I no longer struggle because i received transfers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GD specially the staff are polite and humble and I have witnessed this several times during their visits to my home and by doing so they do well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on buying a piece land because i had land for cultivation. Now with my land I am not paying land rent anymore
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am able to cultivate on my own land without spending money on rent so I will use the money I have been using for rent on something else. I have also been able to buy a cow so that I can be able to take some milk when it gives birth

What did you spend your first transfer on?
My dream has always been to buy my own land so I used my first transfer to buy a cow that i will rear then sell after and use the money from the sale to buy land. So it's an investment for now.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy when I received the money however I did not show excitement for fear that people who had not received would come to me to borrow.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
First of all, i would like to purchase a piece of land for farming and part of the cash transfer i will spend it on completing the family house.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
I was able to construct a commercial house that i live in with my wife to date.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i have ever faced is having no enough land for farming so as to increase my household income and to feed my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am always happy during evening hours when am with my friends and we have a chat.
