Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months I have a new goal to develop a plot I had earlier on bought at the nearby shopping center. It has been a while now since I completed the payment of the plot and all along I have been making small savings despite the fact that school fees payment for my children has been through the nose. I glad some of them have competed their studies and I can now channel some money into developing my plot.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
After receiving the transfers from GiveDirectly, I have been making sure that I put them into the projects I have been running. There have been differences registered since then and so far the biggest of all in my daily life is the great investment in livestock farming. I managed to buy a cow which I am now rearing. It was the simplest project I could venture into as I had an intention of expanding the project later when the cow calf down. So far it has been useful in settling all the household bills through selling of milk.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect to have started the plot development. I may not be in a position to make major changes then but piking the project will be a great leap. We are still hoping though that GiveDirectly would still come to this village with another project similar to the just ended one.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Three years ago, I got infected with Tuberculosis and I was under treatment for around six months. During this time, I was selfless and couldn't carry my daily chores thereby relying on others for help. The side-effects for medication of TB was so severe that I was in pain all the time. For me this is the biggest hardship I have ever experienced.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I wake up feeling well, energized and ready to partake on my daily chores.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on venturing into dairy farming.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
I started tea farming some years back and I've gradually been increasing its acreage. Now years down the line, I have a relatively large portion of land under tea cultivation. As a result of the returns I get from tea sales, I have developed myself to being independent financially and having a family of my own. This for me is the greatest achievement I am proudest of.
