How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has changed alot compared to the past. I had no livestock of my own then and life was hard. More so, my four plots of farm land had been attached to a loan I acquired. However, the cash transfers enabled me clear all these debts easily. I am now a debt free person.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My daily life is very different in that, I have a peace of mind after regaining ownership of my acres of land that I used as collateral for obtaining the loan. Before, I didn't have enough land to cultivate since part of it was in the creditors possession. In addition, I never thought it would be possible for me to get money for settling this loan but thanks be to God for the unconditional cash transfers I received.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the money, I felt too happy. This is because this transfer was going to enable me offload most of the problems I had such as a loan .
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer for paying back a loan of Ugx 1500000 and spent the other portion on food and household goods like a mattress, bed sheets

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Reeivibg this money means having well educated children who are empowered to work in important offices within and out of the country. My future will be bright because my children will be supportive to me and my household at old age. Currently, The small business is the one trying to make them stay at school but it is not very sustainable.
What is the happiest part of your day?
When my children have eaten lunch, that is my happiest part of the day. It's stressful to begin thinking of what to offer to your children during day but when they have eaten lunch, some times the same meal will cater for super as well. That leaves me excited because the day has been covered.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is lack of oxen that could be used to support in opening up land for crop cultivation. That would enable early planting and food security at household level. Currently, we hire oxen for traction but it is very expensive and some times not affordable hence late/delayed crop cultivation which culminates in famine.
