What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer to pay school fees for my children who are both in high school and university and the remaining amount, I spent to buy a sack of maize for consumption and also bought clothes for my family.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I would not have received the transfer, I would not have managed to pay school fees for my children due to the fact that am disabled and cannot do any income generating income. Thank you GD for the transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly sent us transfers directly and it is the recipient to prioritize their needs. I have not seen anything that GD do not do well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to pay school fees for my children one in college and one in secondary school. I am happy that my childrenT were able to stay in school without being sent hoe for fees.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that my children attended all the lessons and now they will also go back to school without accruing so many arrears. Thanks to GiveDirectly.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent 8,000 KES from my first transfer to pay school fees for two of my children in secondary school who had been sent back home for school fees. The remaining amount was spent on buying food in the house.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy when I received the money from GiveDirectly. I really needed to take my children back to school and this was quite a welcome relief.

I want to pay my children school fee and start up a small business of groceries.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
Despite being involved in an accident and loosing one leg, my wife has been so supportive to the family. Am so proud of choosing the best partner in life.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Paying school fees for my college, secondary and primary children has been very hard.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Am always happy in the morning when I get my casual Labour and get paid so that I can sort some of my family needs.
