How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I now have a good house that I will for ever greatful because this is something that I could not do on my own. I am very happy.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion all the process were well carried out. Everything went well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When i recieved the money, i bought 18 bags of cement and sand so that I can make the floor to my house which currently does not have a floor. I kept part of the money to pay the builder when he comes to fix my house.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The day I received the cash I was so happy because I knew the money would help me alot.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Since I received the cash transfer, I live comfortably in my home because alot of problem were solved. I also finished my farm work because of the money. On top of that, I will use the cement I bought to finish renovating my house.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used the money to buy cement, fertilizer which I applied to my maize and I hired some people to help me with farm work. Right now I have finished all the farm work for this farming season. I also used some money to pay for electricity bills.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I have now been saved from starvation which was to hit my family. I did not have enough money and resources for the next months coming.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Iam happiest in the morning because Iam energetic at this moment. It is the time I go out to look for daily bread.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship I have faced in my life is lack of enough food for the family to cater for the whole year. I always face hunger every year.
