How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
No, i don't having new goals before receiving this transfer; i was able to get additional goods for my shop; I'm a business man in this town i usually sell lot's of materials in my shop, but most of the goods that i always purchase can't be enough, getting this transfer i was able to boost my business with more goods in the shop.

Give Directly did well by giving me directly cash transfer and not passing through anybody's; right now I'm a real established business man in this town; for not doing well, i don't know yet.

I was doing a business but I did not have enough money to buy more goods but when I got this money I was able to buy more things to increase my business.

GiveDirectly is doing well because where my hand could not reach GiveDirectly help me to reach there. I have not observed anything bad about GiveDirectly yet.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt happy when my first transfer came and I gave thanks to GD for fulfilling their promise as it is unbelievable because I have not gotten any amount of such in my entire life without labouring for it. I'm also feeling that the full payment will establish foundation for my family and me which will go a long way; because my yearly income and saving can not build what I consider as our family foundation.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference the first transfer is making in my life is, I currently have needy goods in my improved shop that customers want. This makes me attracts customers in the community; meanwhile, this is producing increase my income.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My most recent transfer was spent on cement, transportation, and new goods for my business. I bought some cement in order to improve my little existing shop in order to hold more goods and to also meet the demand of my customers. My shop being up to date and having the demandable goods will generate more money for me and my family as it had been difficult in the past to reach it to that level by myself.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My wife and I started building a house that is not yet completed as a result of lack of money. Upon receiving GiveDirectly's cash transfer, It is my plan to finish the construction of our house and keep some of the money for my spouse who is expected to give birth soon.
What is the happiest part of your day?
With the hardship my family is undergoing, I am hopeful that my life is about to transform with the presence of Givedirectly in our village.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Right now, my only source of income is a small business my wife and I established, which we stop receiving customers because there are many people in our town selling the same thing. Also, my wife is expected to give birth soon and I don't have money to pay her medical bills.
