Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I received this money, I was very excited that I could not believe it. When GD came here, alot of.people were saying it's a lie, they can not give us such amount of money and I had doubts too until I saw an SMS. This was one of the best moment in my life, never felt this happy before.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The different now is that I have afforded to renovate my house which I could not without GD. My house was very old, at times I was worried that one day it will fall down and I might not be able to build another one. Am an old woman with no source of income as I just stay at home doing nothing. This money has helped me to have something I never thought I would be able to afford and am thankful to GD.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought 6 bags of cement, door frames and 4bags of maize.
