What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on building a more spacious house. I used to stay in a very squeezed house. I also paid school fees for my son in secondary school. The remaining I spent on food for my family.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I have been able to take my son to school. I could have not managed all by myself were it not for the transfers I received from GiveDirectly. I am so happy.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion,GiveDirectly does well by giving money in lumpsum. They also let you spend it the way you want. I wish they could give us the money monthly as opposed to the short term they do it now.
