What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
I have been struggling to pay school fees for my university child and other two children in secondary school due the recent flash floods which brought my family into zero because I had to use all the money I had set aside to facilitate my children education to buy food, clothes and medication.in my village farming is the most practice activity because the land is very fertile.iam planning to invest on farming because it will ease the burden I have right now. I will use KES 45,000 to pay school fees for my children.i will use the remaining amount of money to buy food, clothes and utensils for my family and I will also invest in livestock keeping.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I always depend on farming, I lease a farm from other farmers during farming season. Early this year I was lucky to get great yield which brought happiness into my life because i was able to send my children back to school
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I am a single mother of 9 children and raising a large village like this is a great challenge because I do not have reliable source of income, I depend on farming and charcoal burning to cater for their basic needs.
