What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent 10000 KES of my third transfer on clearing school fee balance for my child. I bought a tailoring machine at 8000 KES. I bought a calf at 7000 KES and used the rest of the money on buying food and clothes for my family.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I now have a source of income. i'm using the tailoring machine I bought to repair people's clothes at a fee. I also have a cow which is a future investment.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Gd does well giving such a huge amount of money direct to recipient without involving anyone even the government. This has enabled recipients to get the full amount without any bribes.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on purchasing goats to act as a remembrance for the work well done by give directly in my region. I also purchased 30 pieces of Iron sheets to be used in the renovation of my roof which leaks a lot during rainy season.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference I have seen in my daily life is that today I own livestock as my fellow villagers who could frequently mock me for being poor.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on buying ten cushions for my chairs and a mattress .I also bought two sheep as I believe that they will reproduce and in case of emergencies such as paying medical bills and school fees, I can sell some of them and sort the bills out.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
I am planning to spend the upcoming transfer on renovating my house into a semi permanent house since the house am staying in at the moment is made of mud and its costly for me in terms of smearing it every now and then. I am also planning to buy households furniture such as sofa set seats and tables so that I can feel that I fit like the other neighbors who have the same.

I have planned to pay school fees for my child who is in high school and I will also plaster my house.
