How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has changed in that I live a happy healthy life. Previsouly, I stressed myself a lot over how to provide for my family needs i.e school fees, food, medical etc since I didn't have any source of reliable income. From the time my spouse passed on, life was very difficult hence worrying defined my daily life which inturn deteriorated my health daily.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
According to me, GiveDirectly has done well by giving me unconditional cash transfer that has offered me a ray of hope amidst the hopeless situation of a widow I was in. On the other hand, GiveDirectly has so far only done good things in my community.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to complete the construction of my permanent house. I paid my children's school fees and bought food for my family.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is seeing my children in school with all their requirements and then being able to buy most building materials that I will use to set up my permanent house. As it is, the house that I am using currently needs renovation and there is no near by place that I can get grass.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I received my money, I felt so happy that I God had answered my prayer and provided me with money that was going to solve most of my financial needs like my children's fees, and buying building material as I had earlier on planned.

I spent my first transfer Ugx 650000 to pay school fees my children who are private schools. I then spent 950000 bought some building materials such as timber, iron sheets, nails, bricks that i plan to use and start building. I then used the balance to buy food for feeding my family.
