Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?

It was in the morning around 7:30 am , I was planting beans in the crop land. I was overjoyed and I danced because it was my first time to receive a donation. I thanked God for the miracle because it came as solution to my life problems.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.

My life is completely different because of the financial support from Givedirecly, I was able to buy food and clothes for me and my child .Morevover I repaired my roof . We are a happy family and we now eat and sleep in a good house.

What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?

I bought tiles for 125k because my roof was half covered.

What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?

As I need my shelter, my family gave me my heritage of a land, I will build a house using $300. Moreover, I need to have more harvest from farming, I will buy a cow of $200 and land of $300.

What is the happiest part of your day?

One day my dad through me out because he was unhappy with my condition (getting pregnant before marriage). I went to look for a place to rent and started being homeless but my siblings talked to my dad and asked him to bring me back home. I was really happy that now they gave me a small house to stay in though conflicts didn't end.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?

The biggest challenge I have is that I am a single mom. I still live in the same compound with parents which causes conflicts many times from my dad due to the fact that he was not happy when I got pregnant. In addition to that the father of my child doesn't give me any kind of support which lead me into hustling so much. I do casual job and earn less than $1 per day. I believe that if I get this support from GiveDirectly, I will manage to build my house and start a new goof life with my child.
