What did you spend your second transfer on?
After I received the GD transfer, I cultivated half an acre farm using 4500 KES and planted maize, bought a hoe for 1000 KES, bought an axe for 700 KES, bought maize seeds for 1200 KES and paid labour for weeding the maize farm with 2000 KES, and bought food with the rest.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I used 5,000KES to till land, paid 1,000KES school fee for my two children, bought a sack of maize at 1,500KES, an axe and a hoe at 1,500KES then used the rest for the daily upkeep of my family.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
We've planned with my husband to take dowry to my parents, build our own home with my husband then buy some animals with the remaining amount.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on hiring labor and buying a ploughing machine and a bull that I can use in ploughing my farm easily and I will also use part of the transfer on building a house as the one I have is very small. The remaining amount I will use in starting a small business of selling vegetables like kales, onions and tomatoes.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is that I was able to buy a chair using cash that I got from my business of selling "bhajia" French fries.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face in my life is in terms of getting cash that I can use to continue with my business of selling French fries as this is my other source of income that I depend on when farming fails.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when I am appreciated during the day when I do something good or lend a helping hand to my neighbor.
