How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My house project is still in progress, notwithstanding I also purchased some food items for commercial purpose.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly does everything well in my opinion, they are a blessing to lives.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
It will be spent on 15 bags of cement to plaster my house the rest will be used on workmanship.A portion of that money was also squeezed in to purchase vita and other provisions for commercial purpose.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
my new goal is to invest more in business. When the second transfer was sent, I decided to buy additional goods with a portion of the transfer so that I can have a source of income when Give Directly Program is over. However, As soon as the business starts to increase, my focus will be on my kitchen and house renovation.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly is doing well to impact my life positively by giving me the transfer.

I bought supplies for my business, zinc and cement to renovate my house and kitchen with my recent transfer.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
It was one morning when a recipient from the town decided to go to where we normally access network to make a call, after the axercise it down on him to check his account, that was when he noticed that transfer has been sent. He hurriedly ran to the town square and informed everyone, the entire town ran to check theirs. The happiness became contageous it spread throughout the town, right in the midst of the celebration my son who is my trustee arrived and I hurriedly give him my phone to go and check, I was curiously awaiting him. When I spoted him from afar, looking at the countanance of his face, I knew definitely that mine was also there. I was overwhelmed with great joy, and joined my neighbours in the celebration.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
It has been my dream as an old lady to enjoy comfort before my dismiss from earth. I have always loved to see my house look decent and presentable, but the resources has always been limited. I'm grateful to God for Give Directly that has made my long awaited dream becoming a reality.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I intend making my house look decent for the sake of my comfort as an old woman. My recent transfer will be spent on ten bags of cement to plaster my house. The remaining portion of my transfer will be spent on a bundle of zinc to build my kitchen that was broken down weeks ago by a heavy storm.

"My struggle right now is finance, since my husband died I put a stop to lot of ongoing projects because he was our bread winner and his passing has brought a set back to my children and I."
