How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is better because I have built permanent house which I will soon be sleeping in it after fixing the doors. Before, I used to sleep in leaking hut.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well by helping me of build permanent house and acquire treatment for my children. GiveDirectly has not done anything wrong.

I have spent on purchasing building materials ( iron sheets, timber, nails) worth UGX 1,328,000, paid labour worth UGX 300,000.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, my standard of living has greatly improved. This is because I got a better accommodation for myself as compared to the dilapidated structure I used to stay in previously.

The moment I received the money, I felt very happy because I knew that I would now build for myself a better house to stay in.

I spent the whole of my first transfer for purchasing building materials that I used for constructing a permanent house.
