How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
RE: I was surviving from hand to mouth by the little farm products I fight to get but all that change when givedirectly started giving us money. With my recent transfer i am going to purchase cement for the completion of the renovation of my house. Now with standing givedirectly transfers have given me a decent sleeping place which I am proud to call a home. I couldn't have done this on my own as a person, so i thank givedirectly for this help.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
RE: Givedirectly have been / is doing extremely well from the beginning of this program up till now they have not change. Givedirectly workers are very different from other NGOs workers in terms of talking and listening to people. I consider them(employees) very trained and decent. They smile with you while talking to you even when you are asking plenty questions, and they never gets tired answering our questions.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
RE: I am going to use the most of my money on purchasing cement for the completion of the renovation of my house which is already in process. The rest of the money i have planned to set up a little business to help me when givedirectly is no more in my community. Since givedirectly is not here forever it will not be good if they(givedirectly) than i go back to square one just like that so the bussiness will help keep me up.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
No, I am still maintaining my initial goal of improving my house roof from thatch to zinc or iron sheets. For too long now, my family and I have suffered a leaking roof. We do not sleep at night whenever rain falls because almost all part of the roof leaks. During rainy time, we place buckets and tobes to leaking spot of the ceiling to stop our things from getting wet or damage. I am so tire of this way of life. Therefore, my most recent transfer will enable me to resolve this difficult way of life by constructing a new roof.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly is doing extremely well for us here in Gbagbo's Town. It is my first time to experience an Organisation giving out cash directly to people. And this is so impressive to me. It is because of GiveDirectly that my family and I are about to live under a roof made of zinc. So, l am too grateful for this opportunity and want to extend my true gratitude and thanks to GiveDirectly for being here for us. Hence, I have not experience or heard of any things unwell of this organisation.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent my most recent transfer on the payment of the sawing of planks and purchasing of zinc nails to start the improvement of my house roof. I have already bought zinc from my past transfer and it is in storage. Because of the suffering my family and I go through during rainy time, it is indeed my goal to have an improve roof. Now that I have received this most recent transfer I am going to construct a new roof made of planks and zinc, where we can happily live.
