What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used the most recent transfer to paid 2contractors to start roofing my house immediately. I dont want to encounter any shortage of money while building . Therefore, I used the rest of the money to buy 52pieces of planks, along with 10 bags of cements to start plastering my house immediately. Thanks to Givedirectly for the kind gesture rendered unto me . I believe that with my transfer, my dream to live a better life will come to pass.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Givedirectly is really helping to improve the lives of poor in this village. Some recipients are using their transfers to send their children to schools, while others are using the transfers to renovate their broken houses. Secondly, some recipients are building new houses in this village, while others are using the transfers to seek medical attentions. All of the achievements are due to Givedirectly direct cash transfers to families through mobile money. Thanks to Givedirectly for the great jobs carried out. Having said that,Givedirectly needs to build strong rapport with Lonestar cell MTM to help cash out recipients transfers in thier respective communities. Recipients go through lots of challenges when cashing out their transfers. Some paid higher transportations to facilitate their movement, while other recipients are cheated during cashing out processes by mobile money field agents. I believe that when this rapport is build , recipients will received their transfers smoothly.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The new goal I have set before receiving this transfer is to paid 2 contractors to start roofing my house immediately. I have saw 80 pieces of planks and will soon start the roofing process . My initial planned hasbeen to build my new house with mud. I have decided to change the planned from mud house to plaster cement house. Thanks to Givedirectly for making my dream come true. I believe that when I build a decent and strong house in this Village, my children will live in it for a longer time .

What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
First of all I want to tell the almighty God thank you. Secondly, GiveDirectly thank you for putting me on this program to change my family life. I did spend my most recent transfers on building materials like zinc, nails, cement, and planks.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I think GiveDirectly is doing well by leaving us the recipients with the decision what do with the money sent to us. By doing this, people are prioritizing their priorities. What I may want to with money it is not what the next man want to do. I therefore, commend GiveDirectly for thinking that way. For me, in my opinion GiveDirectly is implementing this program the right way. I have not seen any wrong doing on the part of GiveDirectly yet.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have had a goal to build a two rooms house and move in with my family. My family and I have been sleeping in the same room because there were no cash to build a bigger house. Now that I have this amount of money, I am going to now build four rooms house.

What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When I received my transfer I bought Zinc, Cement, Sand and Nail to start building my guest house. I also paid the workers to start the work. Before than it wasn't easy on my family and I. We used to wash people clothes in the town just to get food to eat. But with the help of givedirectly, my house is now full with food for my family. My guest house is under construction and my children now eat twice a day. Spending my transfer this way brings me great joy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life now is that I'm able to live my dream by starting to build my own guest house in my village and now my children eat twice a day. My children are now registered in school as well. with the help of GiveDirectly I have bought three begs of rice for my family and my guest house is under construction right now as I'm speaking. I am a happy Man right now because my wife can't stop smiling on the development we are under taking.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was at my mother place when I received the money l was happy and rejoicing and jumping all over the village, calculating how to spend my money. I haven't received such a money from anyone for free in my life. Before than I used to brush people farms just to get food for me and my family to eat, and my plan was to build my guest house in my village, but I never had the support to accomplish my plan. seeing my self been help by GiveDirectly, I'm very happy because I can now see my dream has coming to reality.
