Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have a new goal concerning my child's education. She has just completed her primary education and will now move on to the secondary level. I want to give her a smooth start, to do this I have to start collecting education materials and parts of the school uniforms as the child will be joining the secondary school early next year.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have been using the money to meet my child's education needs. At one time my child had been sent home to collect school fees. If didn't have the transfers, I would have had to do a lot of casual work in tea plucking to sent her back. One of the children is picked up and taken to school by a school bus and that means I needed to always pay bus fare. This would have been extremely difficult for me without transfers. I consider myself very lucky and I thank GIveDirectly for this.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to have improved my life because I will be getting income from farming activities that I am using the transfers to establish. By this time my child will be in school and will be studying well because my investments in farming and chickens keeping will be helping me to meet the educational needs.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, I do not struggle too much to meet my family needs as I got regular transfers from GiveDirectly. These transfers have enabled me to do much in life which includes poultry farming which I didn't have before. Again, I have been able to pay school fees for my child. I am happy for these great achievements which I have made in life so far.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to buy a dairy cow. With the money which I will receive in the next few months, I will save to buy a heifer which when it matures it will give birth. When it calves down I know I will no longer have to buy milk for using at home.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The previous transfer which I received from Give Directly, I invested part of it on buying some chicken. As we speak, I got twenty chicken and get to collect approximately 10 eggs a day. The earning which I get from selling these eggs I got to purchase food for the family. This has enabled me to not only cater to my family but also save me from the tedious daily hustles which were more strenuous. Thankyou Givedirectly.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I would have bought more chicken and through this venture, I will earn a good profit. This will act as my main source of income and will no longer seek casual jobs to earn money for use.
