What did you spend your third transfer on?
Being a total orphan and a second born in a family of three, I felt it wise to renovate our only house which my late parents constructed many years ago. I therefore plastered the whole of it including the floors which had worn out. Secondly I paid school fee for my younger brother in the university. I also paid part of my fee which were owing from the last payment my aunt had made. I greatly thank GiveDirectly for the support offered and wishes I get an opportunity to work with it.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
Since ours is a child headed family and being the eldest I take care of my two younger siblings, I used 30000 KES from my second transfer to buy cement and sand which I used to cement the floor of our house and apply roughcast on the walls. I then used 12000 KES to pay my brother's secondary school fees since we had no other source. The rest of the balance was spent on buying foodstuffs and paying for my registration expenses for a course I want to study at Eldoret Polytechnic.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have not been stressed about feeding my siblings during this current drought since we bought dry maize with part of the transfer.
