What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent 35,000 KES out of my third transfer on University tuition for my daughter who is undertaking a Teaching Course. Just before receiving GD grant, I was contemplating selling my 1-acre piece of land to pay her fee, but the offer was too little and I became hesitant, tried to shop around for a better bargain but this was not coming forth. I had already sold my cattle earlier on to pay Tuition fee for my daughter as well as Secondary school fee for her siblings. I had sold all my assets except one cattle, that succumbed to drought in the month of April 2017, and consequently I had nothing else but a piece of land as my last resort, which I almost sold at a throw away price, and yet I am raising eleven children in total, including 2 that belonged to my late co-wife. I thank you very much GD for saving my land.
I spent the small balance on dry corn and other food items for my family.
