Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so happy that I danced through out the day. It was my first time holding that kind of money in my life and I am so grateful
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I got the transfer fee days after giving birth to my last born. The money came when I had no enough clothes for the baby and my house was leaking o bad that at times it was hard for me to sleep. The cash gift has helped me to buy clothes, not only for the baby but for the entire family and iron sheets. My life has changed, from being a begger of used clothes to now buying new clothes.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought food, 4 bags of fertiliser, iron sheets, 2 matress, biscycle and soap.
