Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I saw the message of the cash transfer I was so happy. I was struggling with poverty and I knew that my problems would be solved with the money.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I now have a nice place to sleep on because I have a matress. I had no fertilizer to apply to my maize but with the help of this project I have applied fertilizer to my maize. I no longer walk on foot for a long distance, I just ride my bicycle. I am so grateful to have received this cash.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I had no food so I bought 3 bags of maize. My utensils were no enough so I bought plates and pots. I also bought 2 bags of fertilizer, a matress and a bicycle.
