Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
Having a family without a house to live and staying with someone is difficult. I have been feeling so bad due to my situation. I felt very excited when I received the transfer. My husband and I have planned to build ourselves a house to stay with our children. During the enrollment process we didn't really believe that they were saying the truth. The day they distributed phones and sim cards was when we started to believe that GiveDirectly program is true. I am still happy for this opportunity because GiveDirectly program has made me to be able to build a house for my family and send my children to school.

The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving transfer from GiveDirectly is that I've never seen this kind of money before and now my life is about to become better. We can now afford good food for our children. I will start to do business to assit my husband take care of our family's needs.

My husband have been sick for some time now and since he is the bread winner for our family, things have been a bit difficult. I'm extremely excited for the GiveDirectly program. What does receiving this money mean to you?
When I get this money, I will make rice and bunny business, which is the business i used to do before, but it broke down due to lack of money; i will send my children to school and I will also build my house because the children are getting big and we all can't be in the same room.
What is the happiest part of your day?
By GiveDirectly coming in my town, I am happy. Because I was not expecting to see GiveDirectly here today, we have only been hearing about GiveDirectly; so we thank God for them and let God bless the people who giving the help.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Right now I don't have no money to buy food for my family and even money to pay my children school fees, except I cut palm and sell before my family can have food to eat. So by GiveDirectly giving me this money, it will help sustain I and my family; and it will also help me get my children in school , because they are getting big.
