How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has improved because I accessed adquate treatment for high blood pressure and ulcer. Before, I could not afford to do all the tests required and buy the drugs prescribed by the doctors.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well by helping me with money for treament. GiveDirectly has not done anything wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought Livestock (calf) worth UGX 320,000. There is a balance of 1,300,000 which I'm planning to spend on building a permanent house.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I have been in position to get good medical treament and I have bought building materials(bricks ) that am intending to use for constructing an iron roofed house for my self.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved my money, I became very happy because I was going to get better medical treatment.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer for purchasing two trips of bricks at UGX 700,000, cleared medical bills at UGX 240,000, I also bought clothes, 3 hens, kitchen utensil and food at UGX 460,000. I have not yet spent UGX 300,000 but am planning to spend it on buying iron sheets.

Receiving this money means buying oxen for ploughing and building a residential house.

The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I meet all the basic needs at the end of the day.
