Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference is that I am now hopeful to have a good kitchen because we live in a leaking roof thatched one. Once I get the next transfer I will be able to pay labor to build it because I used my first transfer to buy the required materials.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months. We are currently farming. I will be having revenue from sale of farm produce and even buy goats which will reproduce and give us more revenue. I expect to have poultry too and get an income from that too. I will have diversified income sources and my life will be better economically. I will use funds from sale of goats to buy cattle and keep progressing in that manner.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Had I not received the transfer from Give Directly I would not have executed the building of the kitchen (which is on the way) nor have planned to do farming as I plan to. The plans would have just remained for an unknown future date.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
I do not have a new goal. I have been desiring to do agribusiness : potatoes and carrots . I thank God because this will be possible using my next Give Directly transfer. I have a new farm that I have already tilled awaiting planting. So I will use Give Directly funds to buy all the inputs I'll need : seedlings, fertilizer and labor.
