How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
At the moment, I don't have any New goals since I'm still working on building my house. Before coming in contact with GiveDirectly, My life was in a very bad condition,my family and I live in a two room house with grass thatches as it's roof. When ever rain falls, we place dishes in every leaking spot to help hold the water. This condition cause us to have sleepless night, thereby making my kids to get sick. Now that I'm receiving financial assistance from GiveDirectly my life will improve greatly. I will continue with my plan of building a better shelter for my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly is doing extremely well in helping to improve the living conditions of poor people through her direct cash transfer approach and I think GiveDirectly should continue.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I'm working on building a better shelter for my family. when I received my second transfer I purchased additional two bundles of roofing sheets and a cartoon of assorted nails. I am awaiting my third payment to hire contractors to start the elevation work.
