How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different because I have been relieved from the debt burden that I got for treating my husband who hard a blood clot. My family husband is now fine and we are all happy.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give Directly does well to talk to us with a high degree of customer care and the their staff treat us equally regardless of one's status. There is nothing they are not doing well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent UGX 1,000,000 of my second transfer for treating my husband, I used UGX 400,000 for paying school fees and buying scholastic materials for my child. I bought groundnut seeds at UGX 120,000. The balance of UGX 110, 000 was spent on food and other basic needs at home.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that,I'm stress free and happy because GD has reduced my problem.Secondly I used to sleep in dusty house but now I'm going to plaster my house.

The moment I received my money,I felt very happy.

I have spent my first transfer on build materials stone aggregates 2 trips at 420,000ugx,sand 2 trips at 200,000ugx,bricks at 300,000ugx,transport at 70,000ugx , sanitation (drum) at 85,000ugx,household goods (utensils) at 60,000ugx, bed sheets at 30,000ugx,treatment 510,000ugx and food at 35,000ugx.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means completing my iron roof house. This money will help in buying cement and paying labour for plastering my house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Evening time is my happiest part of the day.Seeing my children healthy at the end of the day makes me happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is lack of enough money to complete my iron roof house which has stayed incomplete for long.
