Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was extremely happy after receiving the transfer, i felt my self jumping off my feet to the roof of my short house. I literally danced.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My life and family at large has changed for better, i am able to eat 3 times a day and sleep in a comfortable matressed house, assuring me of a better tomorrow.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
The fund has been something that i longed for, I use to stay in a leaking unplastered house, now I will make my self a home since I bought iron sheets and plan. And i also bought Maize enough to see me in the next harvesting season. I have also have my self mattress and blankets for me and my child to atleast have a comfortable slept.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I cannot believe it. This amount of money will change my life completely. I and my children usually sleep on empty stomachs because my polygamous husband usually spends much time at the other wife. I get little support from him. Iam grateful to GD for considering me in this program. I can now remove my fake smile on my face and replace it with a genuine one. Thank you GiveDirectly. I also stay with my aging mother and she will be supported along with my children.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Iam happiest in the morning because it is when I wake up with hope and positivity.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Usually I do lack enough food in my household. As a woman iam not empowered in any way to economically support my family. This is my biggest hardship.
