What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on completing my house and building a kitchen for home. I also bought seeds and paid casual labourers to work in my garden. I kept the rest for my upkeep after stocking food.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I now sleep comfortably on good soft beddings and in a descent house. This has had a positive impact on my health as an old woman.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly does well to give transfers to the most vulnerable people in the community. Giving us phones was also very good since GD can reach out to us quickly and with ease.
