How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal is to improve on my Cocoa farm. Since receiving my transfer I have hire workers to brush the farm land and planting is ongoing at the moment.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly does well in the way they Suprise us. I haven't seen anything like this all my life for an organisation to be so helping without asking anything. Givedirectly is doing well in all the villages. I haven't seen or hear of anything that Givedirectly doesn't do well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Most of myrecent transfer was spent on my Children school fees.

Nothing I see right now that I Givedirectly doesnt do well. I know they do everything well, especially the direct transfer of cash to the rightful owner.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I am a farmer and I struggle everyday to provide my family daily needs. I get my livelihood from planting Cassava, Rice, plantain and Cocoa. I was so happy when I received my money from GiveDirectly. I was happy because, I wanted to expand my Cocoa farm, But due to lack of finance I could not hire more people to assist me to brushed and clear the land. Also, My two kids are in school and I have been so worried about funding their education. GiveDirectly financial assistance has helped me sent my kids to school and expand my Cocoa farm to additional three acres.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My life has improved greatly since I started receiving transfer fund from GiveDirectly. I have been struggling for so long to provide my family basic needs. I plant local crops such as Plantain , Cassava and Cocoa to earned my livelihood. Now that GiveDirectly has started sending me transferred funds my life will be better. Because the investment I made in my Farm will provide me with more reliable income. With this income my kids will have a better education and my family long term suffering will be over.

I spent my most recent transferred to expand my Cocoa farm. I hire more men to help me brush and clear the land. My Cocoa farm had increased to additional three acres. Also, I paid my kids tuitions and I'm so happy because I was able to accomplished all of these with the help of GiveDirectly financial help that was given to me.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
When i receive this money, i will give it to my wife to increase her business . This will helped us to fully support our children in school.

In the last six months what brought happiness to me is providing for my children's school.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Currently my biggest challenge is food. When i make farm, the guinea pigs will destroy the rice thereby leaving me to face hunger the following year.
