How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have been able to build a house and also buy food for the family without problems
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly has done very well in helping us financially such that i have been able to build a house. However, if it was possible to have airtel agents to come to our villages when the transfers have been sent to our accounts could have been helpful. We travelled long distances and in some few instance, some have had their money robbed. And in travelling long distances, we also put our lives at risk since we carry a lot of money when returning back home.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
i bought door frames, window frames, for the housing project i have. I also transported these materials from Mangochi town to the village that i stay
