What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I was glad when i received my transfer from Givedirectly . I quickly rush to Buchanan to cash it out. The first thing i bought was four bundles of zinc. I used part of the transfer to buy mattress and pay my children school fees. The balanced was used to transport me back to my village. Am happy that Givedirectly came to my rescue and to also better my life.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly has done many good things in my life. Many days and i had sleepless night because, i have suffered for so long. my husband left all the children with me alone. But God send Givedirectly to help improve my life. My children also attending schools from the transfer i received from Givedirectly. Because of all the good things Givedirectly has done in my life am happy and grateful.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My major constraint has been my children not attending schools. I have seven children living in Monrovia with my sister. Though they give them shelter, but i pay their yearly tuitions. It has not been easy for me as single mother. My husband left me for another woman without any support for his children. I have struggled throughout to make earn means for my children and to give them better future. My goal is to see all of my children obtain quality education to help better my life. I tell Givedirectly thanks for their tireless efforts towards my life. Am very happy to see my life changing gradually.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I received my payment from GiveDirectly is that, I don't worry again about where to money to build my house and I am now able to buy things that I didn't had the money to buy.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
One afternoon when I had free free my phone from the charging booth, I placed in the sim card and went to the network spot where we usually stand to make calls. By the time I arrived at the spot, I received an alert from the GSM company that I have received forty thousand three hundred seventy five dollars from GiveDirectly. I dance the hold day because this is the first time since I was born to receive such an amount.

What is the happiest part of your day?
What has brought me joy is that GiveDirectly came to visit me today and i was able to share my problem with them and by God's grace i know my problems are going to be solved.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My grandchildren are orphans and iam a divorcee, my exhusband has left me to singlehandedly take care of all of the children, which i find very difficult as the farm iam making doesn't yield enough to help my kids and i financially.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
As you can see, my house is very old and falling apart and my husband has left me to fend for my children single handedly therefore when i receive my cash transfer, iam going to build a better house and invest in my children's schooling.
