What did you spend your second transfer on?
Our second transfer has really helped us. We never had an iron-roofed house, and therefore people used to laugh at us as they could see us struggling to look for grass to maintain the house. So when we received the money, we constructed a better house of 28 iron sheets. I am glad that my new house is leaky-free and it requires less maintenance-I don't need to renovate it all the time.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that we no longer live in a leaky grass-thatched house since we constructed a semi-permanent house of 28 iron sheets. People don't jeer or consider me as the poorest in my community anymore since I live more comfortably.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on a bag of dry corn (4,000 KES), 2 sets of Primary school uniform , shoes as well as fee arrears payment (5,000 KES) , and the balance on a small mattress for our children
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment when I received my money I was attending a Political Rally ,the text message made me very joyful and I found myself in a celebratory mood, since the money was going to support us a lot , especially with food and our children's school expenses since at that very time we were worried about their fee arrears as well as their uniform. Generally upkeep has been a challenge to us due to the hand-to-mouth life that we lead.Thank you very much.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we've had before was when we were renting a house in Usenge Centre because we didn't have money so it forced us to get some help from the community and well wishers.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of the day is in the morning when I am alive and feeling so healthy without any discomfort in my body.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money makes me feel so happy because we will be able to achieve our development goals.
