Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was at my house when I heard people shouting that Givedirectly has sent their first transfers. I Immediately checked my phone and saw my mobile money alert . I really danced when I receive my first transfer from Givedirectly . I have been living in an old thatch house in this village. My planned has been to build new house in the future when I haven't to get money. My major source of income is farming but the amount of cash I normally generate from selling the crops can not fully take care of my basic responsibilities .I want to build new house because my current house is small. Thanks to Givedirectly for the cash support. I believe that with my transfer from Givedirectly, my dream to build bigger house will soon come to pass.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference this transfer had made in my life since started to receive transfer from Givedirectly is that I dont struggle again for money.I am now relaxed in the morning without worrying about how to generate money to build new house to relocate from my old house thatch house in this village. Thanks to Givedirectly for the cash support. This the first of it kind to receive huge money from NGO without working for it. I believe that with my transfer, my suffering will soon be over.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Many thanks to Givedirectly for the cash support. There is one major issue that I decided to target for the usage of this transfer. My major plan is to build one bed room house and attach shop for business purpose. I am currently living in an old small thacth house in this Village. Therefore, I used thd most recent transfer to buy two bundle of white color zinc . I want to build sticks house and plasterit with concrete cements. I really appreciate Givedirectly for the cash support .I used my balance transfer to buy one bag of 25kg rice for eating. . I believe that with my transfer from Givedirectly, my planned to build my own house in this village will soon come to pass .
