What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent most of my third transfer to buy a bull which will aid me during ploughing and reduce labor cost for me. I also paid school fees for my children who are in high school, I did not want them to be sent home for school fees.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I had not received the transfer, I would not have sent my children yo school and I would be still living a miserable life. Thank you GD.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly did well in changing lives through cash transfers which enabled recipients to build houses and send children to school. I have not seen anything they did not do well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought oxen since I already have an oxplough so that my work is made easier in the farm and also so that I can do ploughing for people as a source of income. I also used part of the transfer to clear fee balance for my son in school.

I don't use money anymore to hire people to plough my farm and I can plough for people also to get money

I spent my first cash transfer on buying 1 sac of maize 2,000 KES, clothes for the children 3,000 KES, paid 2000 KES for school fees and used the remaining 3,000 KES digging a borehole.

I'm planning to spend my upcoming cash transfer on buying oxen for ploughing and use the remaining amount to renovate my house.

I have planned to buy a cow that will help in farming,I will also pay school fees for my children who are in high school.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The proudest achievement is that I have been able to take my child to high school through the little money that I make.

The biggest hardship was losing my wife,I am both the mother and father to my children though it's tough there is nothing I can do.
