What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent most of my transfer to buy a cattle which was slaughtered on my brother's funeral. I also bought steel door and windows which I have fixed on my windows and also bought a goat for rearing.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I would not have received the money, I would still be living in a small house and also would not have bought livestock. Thank you GD.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly changed the lives of recipients in our community through cash transfers and there was no corruption in the whole process. I have not seen anything they did not do well.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer household items and livestock, and also on starting up a grocery shop in my compound to serve customers in our village.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is saving money and building my own house where I now live in peace together with my wife and children.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is lack of enough food because life here in our village means one has to go into the forest, chop wood, and sell it as firewood, which is not an easy job.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am sitting down with my family and we are taking our supper together.
